Neighborhood Soccer Association

In the spring and fall, St. John Outreach and Social Concerns Boards team up to provide volunteers for Sioux Falls Neighborhood Soccer Association's Garfield League. St. John is honored to support this grassroots organization that seeks to close the opportunity gap for kids to be involved in team sports. Volunteers help the coaches teach skills, interact with kids and families, and provide a meal using the Nightwatch van.

Trunk or Treat 

Members and friends of St. John open their trunks and their hearts at this annual Halloween event. Trunk-or-Treat brings families from around the neighborhood to St. John in a fun environment -- often with goodwill appearances from Sioux Falls Fire & Rescue or law enforcement!

Car Show  

Held at the end of summer, the annual Car Show is held in collaboration with the Garfield Neighborhood Association and the Great Plains Street Rodders. The event features food, games, fellowship--and some cool cars, of course!

Parade of Lights 

St. John Outreach and Education Boards come together to rally volunteers and create a themed float for Downtown Sioux Falls' annual Parade of Lights held the day after Thanksgiving. This fun event brings members of all ages together to spread the word about our congregation.
