The Care Team Ministry consists of a network of volunteers who covenant to visit an assigned Care Recipient socially once a month. Care Recipients are fellow parishioners who for the most part are home bound or nursing home bound. If you would like to be a part of this ministry or would like more information, please pick up a brochure at the Welcome Center or call the church office.
Â
Volunteers meet periodically to prepare take-and-bake meals to be delivered to someone who needs a visit, a pick-me-up, or comfort through a meal. As a gesture of Christian love and support, anyone is welcome to pick up a meal from the St. John kitchen freezer and deliver it to somone who needs it. Just sign the sheet on top of the freezer when you take a meal for delivery. Contact the office to find out when to help cook meals to replenish our stock.
